“Let the little children come to me” (Mt 19:14). Guillaume Vanier reminds us that these words of Jesus alone sum up the life of Eugénie Joubert, who “cultivated a spirituality of humility and devoted herself wholeheartedly to serving the faith of the little ones”.

On Saturday 11 April, catechists from the Diocese of Créteil gathered for a day of retreat, inspired by the spirituality of Blessed Eugénie Joubert.

The National Hospitality Association of Our Lady of the Way held its 2026 general assembly last March at the Nevers Shrine during its pilgrimage titled “In the Footsteps of Bernadette: A Different Perspective.” On this occasion, Muriel Lanchard, president of the Hospitality, led a comparative discussion on the spirituality of Saint Bernadette and Blessed Eugénie Joubert.

On March 19, 2026, the feast day of Saint Joseph, Bishop Marc Aillet of the Diocese of Bayonne, Lescar, and Oloron inaugurated the new diocesan house, Maison diocésaine Saint-François Xavier, in Pau. One of the meeting rooms there has been named after Blessed Eugénie Joubert! Materials about her (books, flyers, cards, medals, etc.) are available there.
