More than 600 pilgrims from the Diocese of Liège participated on the morning of Tuesday, August 18, in the opening Mass of the pilgrimage at the Basilica of St. Pius X in Lourdes!

“Here I am,” each of them exclaimed with conviction. “The Friends of Blessed Eugénie Joubert,” as they do every year, were present to commemorate Eugénie Joubert.

Thank you to everyone for joining us. Thank you to Gaby Pinckers, diocesan director of the “Liège to Lourdes” pilgrimage. Thank you to Bishop Delville for his friendship and loyalty. And thank you to Michel Penhard, “ambassador” for Eugénie Joubert in the Diocese of Tarbes-Lourdes and composer of several musical pieces in her honor, who shared with us a beautiful prayer intention connected to the Blessed:

“God our Father, on this day as we remember Blessed Eugénie Joubert, we pray to You: that through her intercession, united with the hearts of Jesus and Mary, each and every one of us may receive a special grace of surrender, trust, joy, peace, and faithfulness to prayer, and that we may bear witness to this through our lives.”
