“The Staircase Game, or Holiness Upside Down,” at the School of St. Thérèse of Lisieux and Blessed Eugénie Joubert!

Although, from a human perspective, these two lives seem to have taken opposite paths, both walked the same path of spiritual childhood, seeking to love through the shared mercy of Jesus. Both had a simple and familiar love for Mary. And both acted with great passion and talent—especially in the role of Joan of Arc. Saint Thérèse wrote eight “pious recreational plays” (plays intended to be performed by and for her community).
