Parishioners at Ajaccio Cathedral Discover (or Rediscover) Blessed Eugénie Joubert!

The Church in Corsica offered the witness of a Christian community radiant with fraternal love and fully dedicated to proclaiming the faith. A prayer was offered, reflecting Eugénie’s spirituality:

“A living sign of hope for every wounded heart,

Eugénie Joubert experienced the anguish of a broken home.

She relied on God’s grace and prevailed.”

Carried in the entrance procession of the Sunday Mass, the relics of the Blessed—brought specially from Rome—were displayed and venerated by the large crowd of parishioners, while François and Fatima introduced Eugénie Joubert at the beginning of the service.
