A time of prayer around the relics of Blessed Eugénie Joubert in Assisi
The catechists of the Diocese of Rome, gathered for a session under the leadership of Cardinal Baldo Reina, Vicar of the Pope, prayed in Assisi in the presence of the relics of Blessed Eugénie Joubert. Everyone paid their respects to the reliquary of Eugénie Joubert, which was placed on the altar during the morning Mass presided over by Cardinal Baldo Reina. Then, Fatima Lucarini, a faithful and active advocate for the Blessed in Italy, presented the life and work of Eugénie Joubert to the catechists from all the parishes of the Italian capital, emphasizing her relevance today. Numerous documents were made available to raise awareness of her in preparation for her canonization, as well as a recently produced film designed to help both young and old learn more about the Blessed, a passionate catechist! The discussions that followed were lively. Thank you to Fatima and the Diocese of Rome.
