Father Philippe Delaume, pastor of the Liège-Hauteurs Pastoral Unit, and Father Pierre-Yves Delfanne, pastor of the Saint-Gilles parish, organized a novena to Blessed Eugénie Joubert from June 24 to July 2.

The turnout was large, with parishioners from Saint-Gilles and neighboring areas, as well as Father Bruno Villers, dean of Waremme. Bishop Jean-Pierre Delville of Liège faithfully presided over the ninth day of the novena.

The event is already scheduled for next year.

Everyone is welcome to visit Eugénie Joubert’s grave in Saint-Gilles to give thanks and ask for graces. The priests and parishioners will welcome you there with joy.

It should be noted that the Diocese of Liège is a co-promoter of the cause for the canonization of the Blessed.
