Site dedicated to Blessed Eugenie Joubert

"28 years smiling"

Commemoration of Blessed Eugénie Joubert in Pau.

The Saint-François Xavier Diocesan House serves as both a priory (home to the Canons of Lagrasse, a Catholic community of Canons Regular founded in 1969) and a place for listening, gathering, rest, and outreach… for families, young people, seniors, students… for everyone. At the initiative of Bishop Aillet, the former Jesuit House in Pau was renovated to offer “a spiritual oasis in the heart of the city.”

A ceremony is scheduled in a few months, during which a reliquary altar of Blessed Eugénie Joubert will be consecrated in the building’s chapel, dedicated to the Immaculate Conception.

To date, in addition to the blessed’s tomb in Saint-Gilles Church (Liège), everyone can pay their respects at Saint-Pierre Church in Yssingeaux (Diocese of Le Puy-en-Velay) and at the chapel of the Missionaries of Divine Revelation in Rome (Via delle Vigne Nuove, 459), where reliquaries are on display. This fall, a reliquary will be installed in the Collegiate Church of Dinant (Diocese of Namur).
