Elodie Coste, delegate for Children’s Catechesis for the Diocese of Evry-Corbeil-Essonnes, placed the figure of Eugénie Joubert at the center of the catechists’ training day on November 29.

Most of them had been touched by Eugénie Joubert during the Jubilee of Catechists in Rome. Each one expressed how Sr. Eugénie’s apostolate had made an impression on them and how it resonated with their own practice.

With interest, each one discovered and explored the catechetical pedagogy of the blessed. A copy of the “Eugénie Joubert” exhibition was on display at the site.

Delegates from neighboring dioceses plan to host it in the coming weeks.
