Joachim Leyronnas organizes conferences in which “spectators rediscover the lives of the great figures of our history and those of the saints of the Catholic Church.”

On October 9 and 10, in the diocese of Tarbes-Lourdes, near the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, he gave two exceptional lectures entitled: “A catechist with a burning heart, Blessed Eugénie Joubert.” This was a good opportunity for a wide audience to learn in a different way about the life and spirituality of the woman whom Pope Saint John Paul II called “a model for catechists.”

Monsignor Micas, bishop of the diocese of Tarbes-Lourdes, Father Jean-Xavier Salefran, vice-rector of the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, and Father Nicolas Benedetto, responsible for youth ministry, families, and vocations at the Shrine, honored the event with their presence, thus demonstrating their interest in Eugénie Joubert.
